Are these male DPs?

Post by purplecandle »

It did not occur to me that these both might be males, even though I have read the article... I was just excited to find DPs.

Sorry for the crappy pics and bad background..it took a lot for me to get these photos..

upon looking really close I think they both have 1 curved green blue reflective line around each eye.

Males have wrinkles which are pretty pronounced (as you have already been told).
Here is a picture (taken from dwarfpuffers.com) showing male wrinkles.

They also have a line from their bottom lip extending back along the dead center of the belly. Males can have a lot more yellow on them as well. As already stated, the eye wrinkles are the most obvious.

It's very hard to tell with those pictures, and if they're young, you might not be able to tell at all yet.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
