So again I am on the hunt for more puffers specifically the Carinotetraodon borneensis. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get one in the US??

Well, I don't know where abouts you are - but I know that my LFS told me that any fish I wanted they could order. This is when I questioned them about Dwarf Puffers... Of course, a month later, I hadn't requested and they took it upon themselves to order a Fahaka... Which I inadvertently fell in love with.

Good luck with a Borneensis. I have a male, but they are very difficult to find. I've only seen them twice in the past couple of years, and they can be a bit pricey as well. But you never know, you might find one without the LFS knowing what they have. :)

Good luck.

Most puffers in my area need to be special ordered by a LFS.

My local pet store is Exotic Aquatics and Pets. I think it's just a locally owned thing, they order online. Even when i told them I wanted snails they popped over to the computer and opened up an order form.... although, 2 weeks and no snails yet... must be difficult!
