Anemone newby quick help!

I got a bubble tip with a saddle clown pair hosting it today. After drip acclimating it for several hours, I went to put them in the tank and the clowns were rolling around on the nem so much that it wiggled out of my hand and fell. Luckily, it went in the general area I wanted to place it, but unfortunately, it went sideways. It's still on top of the rock but enough into a crevice that I'm afraid to hurt it by trying to right it. Will it be able to right itself? (I know he will find his own spot anyhow, just don't know how much dexterity they have!)

When I was researching BTA earlier .. they tend to "find their own place". That is just what I have read. It will correct itself, but if wearing gloves, you can always help it along.

Thanks! I was wearing a glove but I have no feel for how delicate they are or aren't and I didn't want to grab too tight or risk dropping him further into the crevice so I left him alone. He seems to be grabbing hold and righting himself. The lights are out now so I'll just peek with the flashlight every once in a while to make sure all is well...

It'll be fine. They can get in and out of the tiniest of places, and I'm sure by morning it will have found a spot to its liking.

That aren't that delicate, as far as handling. Heck, I've sliced them in 1/2! The are very sensitive though, when it comes to stable parameters.

I've spent a lot of time on that site, before I even went marine Absolutely breathtaking pix and lots of info.
The tank has been 100% stable for quite a while with no difficulty maintaining 0 nitrates, and I treated myself to a 6 x 48" Tek Light a couple of months ago, which I think should be fine
When I woke up this morning, the nem had gone under the rock and up the other side, and is now nicely placed. The clowns are happy that he's accessible again. Last night when the nem was hidden underneath, one of them decided to try and host my bubble coral, who was thoroughly unimpressed. He's one of my favorite corals so I was starting to worry about him being stressed. I think I will have to move the coral, though, cuz if the nem stays put they're now within easy reach of each other...

My clowns use to host my 7"+ derasa clam, the clam shut quickly one day and trapped the female in by her gills. She died and soon the clam died from a torn mantle.

Oh no! That sucks that you lost them both!
Everything seems to be going smoothly. The larger clown is hogging the anemone, but the smaller one gets in once In while. I'm also seeing the sixline wrasse that I got a few weeks ago more, he's interacting with them a lot more than I expected, and they seem to accept him.
I'm trying to identify the clowns. The store said they were saddleback but I knew they weren't. They're way cooler
will post pix when I get a chance to clean the glass...I don't know if I'll get inside before lights out...

The anemone is on the move again...it went back under the rock...one clown followed it, the other has decided to try and cozy up with my umbrella leather. He's cute but apparently not too smart

+1 also the one to pick at your arm first when you are messing with the tank lol, cute when small, ouch when bigger.

My female B&W is a total b!tch & knows to bite the webbing between my fingers, because it hurts the most there!
