From what I hear, Seacloans are called Seaclowns for a reason. Try a search here on them.

I've used a 100 in a store where I worked, and have a 150. The 150 is nearly useless. Maybe the cup will fill 1/4 with skimmate in a week or two. Useless. The 100 is actually a bit better. Not much, but a bit. It seems to actually do SOME skimming. The 150 would even sometimes run without putting out a drop for a month, the 100 at least continually produced some small amount of stuff.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

I unfortunately have one in both my tanks. It's HOB on my reef and pulls a bit of skim. My other one is in my sump of a FO and has never pulled anything. They must work better as HOB. Only reason i got a second one is because i called and complained it was leaking from the seams. Second one leaked too. I took some aquarium safe silicone and glues all the black seams. I wouldn't recommend them but i know my one works. BTW, i have switched the units from tank to tank and they both work on the reef.

Please get yourself some decent skimmers. It's a very important part of SW filtration.
