New Fahaka!
I have been trying to get another fahaka ever sence my last puff bit the filter tube... So my LFS told me that they have a customer who is bringing in a 8" fahaka and they want to get rid of it. Well it turns out, i know this guy, and he was the one who put the big idea in my head to get a fahaka. I guess he is moving to an apartment where he cant have a big enough fish tank to support him. I hope i get him!
Tanks I currently own:
125g freshwater tank w\ 30g sump, 840gph pump, ocean clear canister filter,
20" fire eel, and Dib the Fahaka
55g freshwater tank w\ Magnum 330 filter
Tigger the South American Puffer
5.5g nano saltwater tank
Clean up crew + coral + a strawberry dottyback

Congrats! I hope your tank is cycled enough to handle that HUGE bioload.

Re: New Fahaka!
What's keeping it cycled now? Are there fish in there or have you been adding ammonia since the last one died?

Re: New Fahaka!
look at my sig.
my last fahaka was in my 55. which has snails, and blackworms growing in it.
im taking in all my other fish to one of my LFS to get store credit to make my 55g into a reef tank.

Re: New Fahaka!
Yes, the 125g is most definitely cycled, and has way more than enough bacteria to support the bioload of the one puff. *points to his sig*
All those fish will be rehomed to make room for the Fahaka.

Re: New Fahaka!

Re: New Fahaka!
That's probably about right for an 8" fahaka, although that is really a retail price.

Re: New Fahaka!
Yeah, I think he should charge you the price that the store would give him credit for it. Especially since he knows you and can be sure it is getting a good home.
