My GrandAm has >120,000mi on it & still running strong. I love the look of the new 2010 Honda Accords though.

Some GM stuff runs for awhile, depends on how you maintain it, My stang is 16 years old, and look great with 120+ Ks, the only reason I have to replace the motor, is cause the guy i bought it from drove it like a moron, and never maintained it I know lots of PPL with 300+ K on their motors, and they run like new.. its all in the way you take care of em?

My mom has a Grand Prix GTP those are pretty quick factory and its easy to make them faster by just changing out the pully on the supercharger. As far as older cars go I would definitaley go with the 71 Chevelle SS, and try to get a 572 to put in it. That would be my all time dream car besides like a Bugatti Veyron or something.

I love the Charger! The have a bunch will all sorts of cool paint jobs at a dealership near here. Problem is they're gas guzzlers, so hubby won't buy me one.

Stupid Stupid Stupid Car! get the motor in and the dumb thing is still running like crap, I now have bad rings GRRR!!! now we have to remove the motor and tear it right down to the block and replace piston rings GRR!!!!!

there is a mustang here that looks just like yours. It has been sitting on the lot for a LONG time. The dealer lost his lic. for umm for got the term "hot ...something" having to do with putting in parts for an emissions test, then taking them out after.

LOL yeah guys do that here all the time, Mine has no emmissions stuff right now, but will have it by next year, and stay on, I had to install diff headers
on my car, and they do not have the spot for the EGR valve. but yeah, EGR stuff hogs horse power thats why ppl remove them.

LOL! to funny, My wife is scare to death to drive my car, and its only got around 300 HP, when i'm done it'll have somewhere around 450-500 LOL! Not many
chicks will drive a car with that power LOL!

Yeah I want to get a Vortech V2 Supercharger. Should bring it up to little over 500, gonna add 4-10 gears though for Faster Acceleration. Less overall top speed but I dont expect to race for 5 miles haha

yeah the 4.6 blocks are good till about 500-600 HP, then you gambling, I am planning on making a stroker motor later but for now just having a car I can drive to work would be a good thing LOL! I have a buddy that has an 08 CS/GT and he has a motor he is building for it, its a 4.6L PI block all Aluminum stroked to 5.1L and has a GT500 S/C all forged internals, should make around 750-800 rangs to the wheels LOL! now thats scary

but you are very lucky to owe a 05+ stang, I have wanted one since I saw the concept back in 2001

Afraid to drive a powerful vehicle?! Now that's silly. I'd feel much more comfortable in a powerful vehicle than one like mine which runs off of a rubber band. Now if anything happens my ONLY option is to stop. In my first car I could stop or use the gas pedal (and it was responsive).

Frankly, not having a gas pedal is scary. I can put the pedal right to the floor and nothing happens, lotsa fun when trying to merge onto a highway with trucks or rude drivers. I wouldn't hesitate to get behind the wheel of a vehicle with an engine.

On the plus side, my car costs about $30Cdn to go a good 600kms and gas is more expensive here than in the US.
