Yes they can.. they can be pretty aggressive, but ours isn't.
Some people suggest a 1000 gallon tank....

That is freekn awesome!!! When fata$$ was younger he use to blow around the white sand.. Though I soon found out that *white sand* was NOT easy to clean.. so black rock came into play.. for about a year and now its the shells. Fahakas are just too messy for anything very fine grained. I think anyway..

I find that the 3M Sand is fine with Kaleeko who is three times the size of Nala right now.. it's our pleco that poos too much.. lol .. so it may be in order to move him in the near future

Or that Pleco will be eaten in the near future LoL ... I had one with fata$$ when he was younger for about a month. They were both the same size and then one day he decided *I wanna taste more of you* And decided to eat him.. 4/5 inches of the pleco LoL... I wasnt home for that, roomie was and she wasnt to pleased with the situation!

haha I bet! Nala is much more aggressive then Kaleeko.. we put a spotted raphael catfish in with Nala, and immediately she started biting him. So we removed him right away and put him in with Kaleeko.. and Kaleeko was interested at first, but he lost interest very quickly. He's more of a "I'll wait til the food comes to me" kind of guy... lol
