Just wondering - do you girls and guy's do something called 'Airsoft'?

It was invented in the US a couple of decades ago, I believe and if you have a fourteen or fifteen year old son - it's been a good way to get at least some of the tension out of them...

Half of the time I don't like it very much - freezing (UK version is about +5C and wet) cold and wet and idiots propell gorified plastic pellets at you at up to four hundred feet per second. But sometimes, with the bonding , it seems quite fun!

Cold, muddy, but it is a test of fitness - half of the game area is a 45 degree slope and wooded. Try charging up and down that for about six hours 8)

BTW, there is a girl who has taken part in the airsoft matches here. Just as tough or idiotic as the blokes... :)

Kyle played competitive paintball for a while. I played paintball once and hated it, mind you I was playing with tournament guns and experienced players. He reffed both for years and years though.

According to him paintball is way worse than airsoft. Airsoft is like getting flicked whereas as tournament paintball is like getting punched. Apparently there's very little comparison between the two  I know that when I played paintball two of my 3 hits resulted in active bleeding and significant swelling. I've played with airsoft guns as well and it really didn't hurt after a couple seconds.

My 12-year-old and his friends like to have airsoft battles at one of their houses- in the big yard in the country.

But here's what I did today: Nothing. Lol. I took a walk to a coffee shop, had a small latte, and read the paper. Planning what bills need paid and how much- etc. Now watching "Cut in Half"- cutting up a 727 plane.

Went to a fish auction. Bought 6 baby calico BN plecos, a 5gal upgrade for the betta, some almond leaves, and some fish food. Also sold some plants.

just found out i may be moving into a house, instead of my small crappy over priced apartment im living in now... the place is out in the country... which means i could get a quad and ride it around all over out there which will be sooo fun im sure! the place used to be my great grandmas house. its directly across the street from my grandma which is good because i can help her out if she needs it. the only draw back is that i cant get cable out there, so i will either have to have intenna or satellite... also, internet is going to be hard to get out there, but my grandma has it, so as long as i have a router im sure i can "borrow" her internet lol

im excited but it does have its drawbacks. since its in the country, its away from everything! like you really have to need to go somewhere in order for it to be worth it lol... and it doesnt have a dishwasher, so i have to get one of those portable ones that hook up to a sink...

but it does have its plus sides as well. i can finally get a small dog... something i could never do here. its WAY bigger than what i have now. huge patio and large garage. the living room has a beautiful bay window, and it has a washer and dryer

btw, how do fishtanks do on well water? is it okay for them?

many less head aches especially for planted tanks.

If it is not planted you can use the water softener (regular tap). If planted you'll have to hook up a hose to the pump and bi-pass the softener.
