With rays, i believe it's more about square footage at the bottom of tank. You could have a huge tall tank full of rock and not have much exposed sandbed. Again, its my opinion.

either way. I am getting a 200+ gallon with sand along the bottom and I am makin sure it is more about being wide and long then ONLY tall. Though it has to be decently tall none the less for the puffer.

Do some more research before you commit to a ray, I would suggest reefcentral, you should be able to find some people who have kept marine rays.

lol i spend 8 hours at work almost every day researching fish and browsing these forums. I work in a place that we only have work to do when something happens so we just sit and wait

Lol I am a computer programmer. I am military though so we receive paychecks bi-monthly. If there isn't a job for a week or for our station then we just spend the day studying or browsing the web. I typically read my study material and let this site sit in background so I can keep updated on information about puffers.

LUCKY! although, im not sure i could do the military thing... good for u tho... and thanks for serving... but im too much of a weenie, i couldnt even make it through boot camp im sure haha... thats the part that holds me back... oh and my fear of commitment haha jk
