Well... They do have a mouth in all the ways that we would consider a mouth a mouth. They most certainly don't have a chest. Very basically, they've got a head, a thorax, and an abdomen. The mouth (or mandibles or whatever else you want to call it) is located on the head

A scavenger isn't really a predator. I can see them eating eggs laid on the substrate and on the leaves but not all of them, and the gell sacls may or may not be to thrir taste as to "protect" the little snails. If the shrimp was after a snail, could that snail have already have died?

I wasnt implying that it predates snail eggs or snails for that matter. If it runs across them it will eat em. The snail was alive by the way. Check out my other posts on this topic.
