If I remember correctly, Martha wasn't scared, just trying to get some attention and food :) I can't remember what the board member's name is to look up the original thread.

I am not 100% positive but if anything I would back up the food + neglect theory.

This morning I missed a feeding and I woke up to a puffed up fish,
as soon as he saw me looking he deflated rather quick.

:O LOL! Your fahaka puffed cause u missed a feeding! WoW he's a miserable sob LoL! Mine kind of puffed up ages ago but that was just after he puked up about 5 scallops.. since then he has never touched a scallop and hasn't puffed..... But i found some wild caught feeder guppies from big als brampton.. grabbed 50 so now he`s chasin em..

OMG... little spikes!

Didn't know Fahaka's had spikes tbh as you don't really see any. Are the spikes pores that get puffed out her skin or something like that?

Fahakas aren't piscivores and shouldn't be fed fish.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.
