My wife loves my puffs... she just won't participate in the day to day work.

Kind of like a gourmet dinner ... it is always better when someone else does it for you :D
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

I can relate to that J-P because my husband certainly enjoys the puffers, but I'm the one who does most everything, all the water changes, day to day maintenance and the feeding. At least he indulges me and allows me to get any puffers that I want, so I feel fortunate in that. :D

Well Pat likes the betta's and she enjoys Samson, but she's not a fish person in general. when we move next year, we are hoping to buy something with a finished basement, that is where all the fish
cept maybe the betta's will be, out of site out of mind for her, but I will porb spend alot of time down there LOL! I think if I run all quiet can filters she will be okay, the only really noisey tank now is vics, its has two HOB filters and the water noise bugs her, not to mention the smell when she doesn't do her WCs she's suppose too.. :(

I just moved fion ( Betta ) to a 2.6 filtered tank, so that only leaves iszie (female betta) to place in a bigger tank. :)
