Congo Puffer Tips?

Cant seem to get my guy to eat anything other then Ghost shrimp and some times feeders tried all the methods in the feeding guide on the site and he just wont take to it has anyones else had a real problem with getting to congo on other foods and if so what did u do that finnaly worked.

Patience... I have sat for an hour bouncing shrimp on the end of a string.

People Shrimp? Full size or cut up? I have had FD Krill in there on a string flowing about 4 inches above the surface in the filter streaming changing them often to keep them from messing with water and he totaly ignores them its like hes spoiled on Life shrimp and will starve before eating anything else lol

Yes, people shrimp tails. Have you tried soaking in garlic? How long since he's eaten? At least try an earthworm. Really do you best to get him off live fish, especially feeders.

Just the tail? I have tried garlic but maybe not enough. He refuses earthworms tried them for over 2 weeks having htem in the tank daily he jsut swims over them. He eats daily i normaly try to feed when hes out hunting tho which sometimes freaks him out and ends the hunt. unlike others i ahve seen my never attacks from the sand he will jsut follow his food till he gets it.

Don't feed him for 3 days & then try. How big is he?
