Stocking suggestions for 2 tanks

Post by J-P »

I have 2 tank sections that are without fish at the moment.

Wondering is anyone has any stocking suggestions.

1 is a 68 gallon and the other is a 55 gallon.

This system has overflows do I am leaning towards a lower strata fish that isn't doing to jump tanks when I'm not looking or fight the current.

These are 2 sections of a multi tank system:

Tank temp is currently held at 75~77

I was thinking of an ornate for the 55 BUT I read they are escape artists and "smell" their prey. SO, if feed upstream that guy may switch tanks and have a buffet.

I was going to say a tight fitting lid but then I saw the video. 55 for an Ornate a bit small but then it wont matter as it potentially crawls out and moves from 1 section to another. Maybe a bichir isnt a good idea then and Ornates are bullies when they get big so I would fear for your other fish.

I don't have any suggestions for fish, but I wanted to say I like the way you have them done up, looks very natural, and I like natural. :)
