red algae and high ph

Post by dasboot1 »

Hi Everyone!!!

I have started to get a red algae around my tank, i have also found today that my PH is approx 9.2

I have a feather duster tube worm in the tank which seams to have a large dust of the algae over it too along with the rock and glass.

I have done a 50% water change today and removed most of it.

1.022 sg

Thanks for looking

What are you using for a test kit? What is the pH of your tap water? What salt are you using?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

There's no reason your tank should test so high then. :?
