I can not find the name of this beauty, and i'm really in love with him! But in the 3 months that he is in the LFS he has grown a lot! From i think 5 cm to now i think 15cm+...

But, with no name i cant find any more infromation about him. Can anybody tell me what the name of this beauty is? :)

Definitely an Arothron (dogface), not sure which one though.

It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Beautiful.. looks like a "narrow lined puffer" but without the lines! That nice big tail...

Al my thoughts! :P A dogface... but not the Narrow lined puffer. This is to much black.. When he was smaller i thought that it was that one.. but he's not changing in color.. He is so beautiful.. every time i see him my mouth fell open :P

That's def one of the nicest looking dogface puffs I have seen. Love the tailfin coloration and the distinciton between his colors really pops out.

ya, he is really cool. I like the tailfin. Mine doesn't extend his very often. What kind of price is your LFS selling him for?

Do you have one like this one?

3 months ago he was €49.95, about 1.5 month ago he was 54.95 en now he was 79.95.. In that few months..

No idea what a normal price is for this kind of puffer..

My LFS just started dealing with certain kinds of puffers not sure if this is cheap but they have a fahaka for 29.99 and a spiney box fish for the same price. I wander if they will start to go up if there underpriced.

Not bad pricing. I got my Stars and Stripes puffer for $35 here in the states and they had a true dogface for $40 in the next tank. They figure the bigger it gets, the more they charge. I saw a full size S&S for $100 somewhere else.
No, i don't have one like this. I've never seen one either. I thought if it was maybe a hard to get item it might be expensive.

Wow, the dogface at the LFS here is $250 at about 6". It's riddled with ich too.

OMG, what store was that? Big al's usually has regular dogfaces at 4-5" for $49.99!
