My Mustang is Done bout time!!

Post by MrHumphries »

Sup all,

well I thought I would throw up a few pics of my car, and a vid of it running, seeing as a few of you have heard about it :)
Its a 94 GT Mustang, I swapped out the old 5.0L and dropped a 5.0L out of a Explorer, the thing that makes this motor so special (This gets technical)
It has GT40 heads, and GT40 style intakes, combined with my ecam, this makes lots of Horse power, around 300 to the crank :) Took 5 weeks to do the swap, it should have only been a week max, but do to lack of cash ( cost more then i saved) and my bud going through some personal stuff its took longer..
Well enough babble, here's your pics :)

Here's some shots of the car before the swap :)

Out with the old

And in with the new :)

And here's your vid :) Hes revin it, cause we just set the timing, and the buzzin you hear is the air intake, it wasn't bolted on:) I will post a newer vid later, if anyone is interested.

I'm conflicted. I like what you've done with the car but I don't think too much of the generation. It just looks too... bland for me. Too generic. I love the things people have done with them but even it was souped up and could kill Ferrari's, it still wouldn't excite me.I just can't get attracted to the looks.

Great job on the swap though. I was going to do that but it was just as easy, if not cheaper to go out and buy an LT1 Camaro instead. We should race sometime :)

Hmmm, but Mustangs are Fords. That engine you put in was a Ford...

Let's play connect the dots shall we?

If you want to screw around with it, get a Camaro or a Firebird. Preferably a 70's Camaro. Mustangs are great new off the lot, but working with them is a nightmare. Chevy's are more forgiving to monkeying around.

LOL, Would be great, if you can find one of the two dozen repair shops in the states that have any real idea how to fix a rotary engine.
