Always loved the arowana,
this is the biggest one I ever saw, was close to the 4ft mark, used to be in my LFS display tank.

Would never have a silver myself but still quite fancy an Asian Aro one day.

A LFS up in Sheffield had an Arowana in with a couple of stingrays, and they had been tankmates for about a year or more, but then one day the Arowana went for some food that the stingray also had an interest in and the Arowana ended up getting stung. They had to euthanise it after that. Very sad, and I missed seeing it after that incident. Just goes to show that you have to be very careful what you put in with stingrays. :?

My friend has some of these fish. Even an arowana. Don't get me wrong but all these look like something in a pond. I'd rather have more colorful fish. Just so bland looking. No offense just not my cup of tea.
