Here are a few more pics:

Doesn't quite know what to think about the snail. It has circled it several times but hasn't done anything but look.
Looking much better:

What a porker!

Re: Dwarf Puffer setup (now with fish!)
Thanks. I've been staring at it all day. Well it finally figured out what to do with that snail plus the other three I've put in there. I also found out it doesn't like brine shrimp. So it looks like it will be bloodworm & snails for now.
I still can't determine what sex it is. This is my first puffer and I've read all the articles on here and other sites but I just can't figure it out. Here are a few more shots. My guess is female. Can anyone tell me for sure?

Re: Dwarf Puffer setup (now with fish!)
It is either a juvenile or a female. Males will have the brownish line running the length of their bellies vertically when mature, but when they are juveniles they look like females.
I'd say wait until it's about 3/4 of an inch. If no line is visible by then, it is probably a female.
If it is already that size, well, you've got yourself a little girl.

Until it proves me otherwise I'm calling it a girl. Now to come up with the perfect name...

Thanks. Me and my 5 year old grand-daughter decided tonight that her name is Lily.

Aww.
Lily is nice. It suits her big, bulging eyes.

Re: Dwarf Puffer setup (now with fish!)
Thanks. Did the first partial water change last night and at first she was darting around the tank. I guess she didn't care for the siphon to much. After I stuck my arm in the tank to rearrange a few of the plants she calmed back down. I actually had to move her out of the way with my finger a few times. I'm pretty sure I could start hand feeding her if I wanted.

Haha ha. Beautiful tank and lovely little puff.
She looks a little scrawny, I'd do an IP treatment sometime. I use PraziPro.
I've always hand-fed my puffers.
