Haha, I like it. I have bad senses though. I think that if anything should be changed it should be the brownish rock sticking up. That's the only thing that looks a bit off to me though I do like how it adds height... No idea.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

That's because they are all so different. Looks a bit awkward.

Do you have more of those rocks? I'd say just use the dark & silver(?) ones.

I have so many it is not funny..

I'll go through the pile again and get more consistent colors. The majority is black but has some of the lighter colored ones.

Are there silver ones? Because that would look really cool with the black sand & black rocks.

the larger ones you see in the photo are about 4' long! I take a pry bar and move them around and look for the "smaller" ones that are still hefty

Hi J-P,

There are AWESOME looking setups using stones as the main focal point in aquarium setups.
An example of this is the IWAGUMI style of design used by Takashi Amano in some of his tanks.
You could draw out some of these principles and use them to create a very 'zen' feel in this tank.
The HUGE selection of rocks available to you means that there is a huge potential of creating a fantastic aquascape for your tank.

Hope this helps.

Jason, thanks!
I have some of Amano's journals here. He uses special rocks found in rivers. He actually has classes on rock selection.. go figure!

I'll move some stuff around and re post :)
