Little White Worms & Snail Babies

Post by Brent »

Last night, as I was about to turn off the tank light, I noticed some little white worms crawling along the glass in a caterpillar/millipede manner. I also noticed some tiny brown dots in clusters around the tank that look a heck of a lot like baby snails. There are white trails going along the glass along one whole side of the tank where the creatures are most prominent. Does anyone have any idea what they might be? Could they be dangerous? I'm concerned as I called a LFS today and they said that Congos were in season and that they would try and get me one, but I don't want any parasites in the tank that could be detrimental to it.

Many thanks,

Brent.

PS:

The tank is empty, because of a power outtage that ended with the death of its stock, but has had a recent water change due to moving the tanks location recently (within a week). Could this have something to do with it?

E://

I'd like to add that they are extremely tiny (too small for my 1200 MP camera even), so I couldn't get a picture/video.

Ah, okay. (:

Not sure where the snails came from though. O.o

Perhaps my dwarves were keeping them at bay before, so I just never noticed.

Thanks again.
