Re: White patch in fake cave...
i really dont mean to get your hopes up.... i hope it is eggs... but i have also read that gsp eggs can only hatch in marine.... actually, i JUST read this like ten minutes ago hahaha. well, best of luck... and hopefully, if it is, maybe they will hatch... how about keeping an eye on your paramaters for the next week or so and see if anything changes? if it turns furry and white, and if it is eggs, they are definately dead... at least thats how it is with cichlids... i assume its the same with all fish.
is that good or bad advice guys? waiting a week or so...

Re: White patch in fake cave...
Since no successful breeding of GSPs in captivity has been noted & your puffers aren't sexually mature yet, I can pretty much betcha it's not eggs.

Re: White patch in fake cave...
My guess would be some sort of livebearer--maybe guppy. What ever happened with your white stuff?
