Nice tank and a good looking Puffer. I would recommend a background
Background ( as seen on the first pic. ) will protect your tank from a direct sun light.

Im working on getting a nice background for them. They are alittle pricy at the lfs so i might be able to get one on Mar 19. When can I switch them to full marine??

- My Puffers: 1 GSP (Microfiche) RIP, 1 Monotrete Turgidus (Leon) in a 30gal. 1 Monotrete suvattii in a 40 gal FW. 120 gallon BW with 3 juvenile Dragon Gobies (so cool). 55 gal with a 2" GSP named Hank. 180 gallon being set up for a Fahaka in the next few months!

Just go to a craft store and buy some cloth, double it and use stick on velcro to attach it to the tank around the top rim. You can get creative and inexpensive.

i always spray paint the backs of my tanks... i like the look of it and its really cheep.... its a lil pain to change though a razorblade does the trick.

Most of these people stick to their guns. And they're shooting blanks.

I used crushed coral & all fake decor. PITA to move out of the way to clean under & rebuild. I used that decor from mid-BW to full SW.

My substrate is sand and the plants are fake. I will be adding some live rock in it as well. It's not full marine yet, but im slowly bringing it up to full marine.
