Green Figure Eight?

Post by Bluntokian »

I know I havent been on in awhile, Iv moved and everything else since I have been gone. Got my figure 8, But his back is green? Like from where the white on his stomach stops to half way up his back is yellow, But the rest is green. Iv been giving him metafix because he had got tore up in shipping due to the shipment coming in a week late. Its helped a little bit and his fins are almost completely healed and hes eating but I cant figure out the green. Any ideas?

Looks a lot like what Grun used to be. Grun was much more like the green on top, while Schnitzel is more of the yellow on bottom. Grun was adult while Schnitzel is about half grown. He looks well fed and his belly is white, so I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on him for any other changes and maybe leave the lights off for a few days while he settles.

Are you sure it's a figure eight? The pattern looks an awful lot like a figure eight to me..but the color looks like a ceylon...

I think it'd be more likely for a slightly odd colouration, as opposed to a completely different pattern.
