3 Empty Tanks- Advise me on Puffer Stock?

Post by Brent »

I have 3 rather small tanks; a 25g, a 10g and a 5g.

I was thinking a single DP for the 5g, but I don't know what I'd like in the other two. They just have to be freshwater. Perhaps I'll just put a DP or two in the 10g and forget about the 5g. I dunno.

Thanks,

Brent.

check out the puffer pedia, there are quite a few small puffers that you could pull off in a 25, it would of course just be one puffer for the tank, but there are a lot that get no bigger then 2 inches, heck even a 3 inch fish in a 25 with good filtration would be awesom, check it out........
Too many tanks, not enough room, maybe i should just flood the basement!!

I know. I've read the Pufferpedia numerous times. It's really more the 10g I'm having trouble with.

I'm more interested in puffers not listed on the Pufferpedia.

I think you need to figure an energy back up plan before going forward with more fish.

I've pushed the subject. I don't want to go down this road again!

No need for a QT tank when the tanks are so small, and I will be getting the puffers at the same time.

I completely forgot about a snail tank! I didn't have one for DPs, but fed the occasional snail I would pick up from the LFS... Okay. DP tank- 10g. Lurker tank // Carinotetraodon tank (lorteti most likely)- 25g. Snail tank- 5g.

I'm just waiting for the stock lists from the LFS and pet stores I called now. Will decide from there.
