You have some naff shops around you. Nearly all LFS stock a brand called Tropical Marine.

If they have a freezer then they will have tropical marine. A few quid for a bag of cockles.

:D I will be trying those two in bournemouth (that I've never heard of!!!). Maidenhead are the only one out of the others that have a freezer and I have asked them before to no avail. Maidenhead, southern aquatics and the koi shop (which is about half a mile away from my house, so I WISH it were better!) stock Tropical marine salt and that seems to be about it. I buy/use this coz can't get much else!
:oops: yes, I guess it would appear that I DO have naff LFS around me! Think the problem is that The Koi shop,southern aquatics and Maidenhead are all franchised, so quite a small operation. :?
Thanks for the info. Will definitely try the ones in B-mouth when I get over there! :wink:

Guess I am lucky - sorry I never imagined it would be as hard to find food as it is for you.

Doesn't chopper01uk feed cockles? Might be worth asking him if he's in the same neck of the woods!
