I get a large bag of frozen shrimp, not those tiny salad ones, with the tail on, raw for under $9. They're at Walmart, such a great deal. Puff Puff and my cichlids go nuts for them. I give Puff Puff the end with the shell and the cichlids the rest.

Glad you like em, I came home from church today, and found Samson half buried very cool to see. Thought you guys might like to see them?

Whereas when you buy frozen it's usually frozen when it's very fresh, before being shipped out to the store. Kept frozen, imho is the freshest way to go. Awe how cute! Samson can definitely make anyone want a fahaka!

For those that are looking for raw seafood, I found that the easiest place to find raw seafood is any asian markets, there is one in BC called TNT, and it has tons of raw seafood. We bought 30 small crabs for $4.00 they were frozen, raw. & Our mbu just LOVES them!

Just a side note... TNT was purchased by Loblaws and shops are springing up all ove the country now. There are 3 in Toronto alone.

If you live in Canada and can get to a TNT, it is worh it

No kidding. It'll be SO much fun setting that tank up! I know you're good for pictures but just need to remind you. We need pictures!

PS: I got some of the SAPs yesterday, I'll put them up when they're ready.

I wish I had an "normal" tank that could house "normal" fish sometimes.

I am still perplexed with this one
