We were at the Big Al's on Centennial in Hamilton today and they have several tiny baby fahakas. They weren't up for sale/priced yet...

Yes, but they were sooooo tiny, maybe 3". They weren't tagged yet but I'm 99% sure that's what they were. Was I mistaken? Would they fight even at that size if they were fahakas??? I'm going back to the area on Sunday, I can double check then if anyone needs to know for sure. Ready or not, I'm sure they'll be available for weekend sales...

They absolutely will fight at that size.

I will go back on Saturday and double check, then. They fishroom guys were so busy last night, I didn't want to bother them with a "just out of curiosity" question...

i keep my 14-15inch puffer in with a 10 inch ghost knife fish, a large normal plec, a bristle nose plec and a catfish his been in with them for a very long time around 5 years and no problems he did eat half of a small catfish once when he was little but it was a complete mistake and he didn't touch the other half

My tank is still cycling at the moment, waiting for ammonia to go down..
Still need to buy a new glass canopy pair and decor as well..

Big Al's housing baby fahakas together? I'm not a big fan of Big Al's livestock..
They don't always know what they're talking about.

I would get it through my LFS but they almost never get what I ask them to (although it's not entirely their fault)

Wait... Are you saying you've found a store with employees that know what they're talking about?

:ROFL2:

Too funny ;)
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.
