Dose anyone know the math formula to find out how many U.S gallons are in a tank? I know it's lengthxhightxwidth divided by ??????? any help?
I must catch up to the others for I am there leader!

Gallons (US)
length x width x height (inches) / 231

Litres
length x width x height (cm) / 1000

With the MFK calc you can choose between US and UK I believe under the "volume" section
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

the formula posted answers what I needed to know it is by 231 for U.S I had found one but I think it's UK and that is 277.4 so if any one needs to know that. Oh and these are LxHxW in inches. :D Thanks!!

BTW for UK gallons:

length(inches) x width(inches) x height(inches) / 1728 x 6.25
