Guess where I found my DP?
In his cone feeder! Haha. Poor guy. He had room to move about but still! I turned over the cone and all was well. I thought maybe since the water was down a bit, he'd just jumped in. Its got a nice top so no worries there. I replaced the water. I've been paying so much attention to my beepity beep car I haven't stared at the puffs a lot this weekend.

OMG, what a relief! Yay!
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Re: Guess where I found my DP?
Well it was empty but maybe he was hopeful? He's usually slow on the uptake- hence the feeder anyway. I sent my dad a short video of him when I'd first gotten him swimming toward the feeder. "That's the slowest fish I've ever seen," I think were his words. I just dunno how he got in. Lol
Cone feeders are shaped like a shortened Ice cream cone (w/o ice cream) and have tiny slits so that blood worms or other small feeder worms can wiggle out slowly, telling the fish "I'm tasty!" while slowing down their trip into the gravel.
