help wanted

I have just been offered a small 1 inch GSP, they have been keeping him in a tank with a .050 salininty. Currently mine is at only .008. will this effect the puffer?

You mean 1.005? Just drip-acclimate him, if you know for sure he is healthy enough to add to your healthy puffer & have enough room for both.
