Re: Sad Day Today............
So sorry to hear that
Is that actually it's grave? If so that's sweet.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Re: Sad Day Today............
I'm sorry.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

can't say for sure
the DPs have been with me since August
all has been fine until early January, when Powder started losing weight, very slowly - no other symptoms at all - none
suspecting possible IPs, i started them (all) on food soaked in Jungle Fizz Tabs that i powdered & liquified, for 1 week
seemed a little better, filled out a bit, still eating ok, but not the progress i'd like to have seen
so after a few days, i repeated the treatment
still not much, if any, change
then, since i really didn't really have good results with the Fizz Tab regimen, i tried the API General Cure, both as a food soak & in the tank water
treated for 96 hrs, per directions
by this time, Powder, for the first time ever, stopped eating
one day later, gone............
we both fought a good battle
all the other DPs are in great shape & doing just fine
i think Powder just didn't have it in him
i'm a firm believer in Survival of the Fittest, and i think that that is what came into play here
we'll miss him
