Here in the UK this is a very expensive puffer, and there are only a handful of them in this country. I don't believe there are very many in the United States even. A very beautiful puffer, but with a price tag way too high for me. This is a photo of one that was for sale a little while back and I was emailing the owner, and he sent me these photos.

Many thanks for your reply. This puffer is also treasured in China, even the very little information on.

Yes, they are very rare. Most of the time when one is advertised and you see a picture, it is really a Fahaka but with some red coloring. Finding them with the true red spots like that is very rare, and they are very expensive.

I would love to have one someday. They're so beautiful.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

The one you mention is the one that's in the photos above that I posted. I was emailing Richard for a while, but it was just too expensive for me in the end. I admit it's beautiful, but I can't justify that kind of money for even a puffer. :(

Just a little note, that's £650 - British pounds, not Euros, although the exchange rate may be similar for both currencies right now. :)
