Re: Why Arent my DP's not eating??
these are all guesses, and im sure someone will correct me if im off...
=do you have freeze dried food? maybe they prefer it when its soggy?
=do you have frozen food? maybe they prefer it when it has defrosted?
=they like heavily planted tanks... maybe they prefer it when the food sinks to where they feel less vulnerable?
=they hunt for their food. maybe they prefer it if its floating around near the bottom so they can sneak up on it easier? (mine do that)
=they arent supposed to breathe air... maybe they are waiting till it goes to the bottom so they dont risk sucking up air?
just some possibilities... as long as their eating... doesnt really matter where they prefer to eat

All goos ideas, kilofey!
It's actually much better for them to eat in the water than from the top, where they can suck in air they possible couldn't expel.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

If you have access to live blackworms you should try those. DPs will almost always eat them.

try glass worms too... mine LOOVVEE them... and they are small enough pieces that they can easily be eaten and they will float around like they are swimming... which the DP seem to like cause they can hunt them.... i get mine from sanfransicso bay brand
