what are these little critters?

Beautiful, complex and discussed here. The marine fish and reef section.

what are these little critters?

Post by Nightfoxx220 »

If you can identify any of these or give me a little more information on them please do so!The all move around the sides of the tank.

whats this little guy? I saw him after I changed the carbon filter in my Emperor 400 and let it sit in the water for a minute to let all of the moving pods on it "abandon ship" and stay in the tank. Cleaned my whole tank up and saw this guy scooting around. Now I see 5 of these! I am assuming its a snail or something prior to getting a shell. The thick black line on the drawing would be what he was moving on, it almost looked like a thicker "lip" of the body like what snails move around on.

There are also little guys on the sides that look like this, that also move around and are very tiny (too small to get pics, so you must deal with my professional paint skills :P

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

All those lil pods are cool! Get yourself a big magnifying glass & a flashlight & check them out at night.

even the first one is just a pod? :(
there are 5 zooming around the tank now since the light went off, probably lots more...
by the way was it good for me to let all of them that were squirming around the filter pad to jump off before i switched it out to a new one? I figured it was since they are good. but just wondering :P
