Maybe this is a situation where you do dose the tank for IP's? I'd watch for ammonia spikes, though...

Think I'd hoovered most of the out of the pacu tank gravel - must have come in with live food.

EDIT: was just reading another thread with ppg and rtr etc in the general section, so I won't hijack this one any more! Seems the worms I have may be harmless for the pacu - I probably overfeed the beast too. Can always destroy them later if needed...

That's alright, the worms are showing up in a couple of threads ... but I think I've finally got it that they may be harmless and that's all I wanted to know. Scaring looking though, aren't they? :o
