Has Anyone Ever Seen a Tetraodon cambodgiensis?

I never seen any problems when I had just the one male and one female, but again, they were living in this 4-foot tank with many plants, places to hide and line of sight blocked. I think they do better in groups, as I feel most of the smaller puffers do (as in dwarf puffers).
My tank has one external filter (Eheim) and two small internal filters at one end, which produce quite a good current, as well as another internal filter on the other end of the tank. I am a big believer in over-filtration.

Me too - there's eight pumps and filters on the Celon tank And a skimmer - I just left it in after a good clean! Not doing much yet, obviously but it will when the salininity gets rather higher. 1.008 now and rising slowly...

What do you think I should do for the stressed out Red eyed puffer?

a) put it in the tetra tank behind a divider because I know the tank is fully cycled.

b) shift the tetras with one filter (of three) and give it their 80l tank.

c) take two of the filters and put it in a 100l.

Thinking of b) at the moment...

Well I know there's some that will find fault with this, but I don't see why that redeye can't just be "free" in your tank with the tetras. I've got mine in with rasboras (gobies and Cory's), and they totally ignore the other fish. If anything, I think they would probably be aggressive towards one another before they would be aggressive to the tetras.

But obviously you do whatever works for you.

5 Rosy tetras, 2 rummy noses (survivors from a group of 8 - I'd put them in too soon in the life of this tank).

There's also 2 thicklip gourami, 2 upside down cats, a whiptail and a banjo - this lot I'd probably need to move because they are too slow?

Maybe ..... but the only aggression I seen from my redeyes was that they used to chase (not bite, only chase) my F8, but I've since moved the F8 out and now they are all fine. I can't see the redeyes going down for the whiptail and banjo though, I mean I've got very slow moving gobies in that tank and they are completely ignored. I tend to think it's only other puffer species that the redeyes were interested in, but seeing as they would be the only puffers in that tank of yours, then I don't think there would be any problems.

But you are correct, puffers can behave differently in different tanks, for different people. So yours might not be as laid back as mine, and vice versa.

Maybe the gourami's could be a problem - can put them in with my angelfish if needed.

Hmm. Now I've read your opinions, I've a feeling this one may not bother anything because it will be severly stressed out. I wonder if it might just hide for a while...

Tank is prettty small though.

It's also only about 3/4 inch

I'll get another tank ready anyway in case. I'd probably find half a fish one morning if it is going to have a go!

Nah, I don't think it will kill any of your fish, but that's just my opinion. If anything, maybe a little nipping, but hopefully not even that much.
