Well personally I like the colour of your Fahaka in the darker mode, but I like the substrate in the lighter colour.

really? the darker colors seem so much more dull and muted to me.... the lighter colors seem more vibrant.... he just appears more happy lol... i know thats just me thinking that, he probably doesnt really care either way.... the lighter colors are actually a lot more vibrant than they are in the pic... well i like them
and thats all that matters

My mbu has black rocks, and he is very vibrant
I wonder if he'd dull down in lighter substrate.

i think your Mbu just likes to stand out
or maybe hes just confused lol either way, no one complains of a bright vibrantly colored fish.... very pretty btw thats a good avatar pic...
PS- i also switched his tank with the red devil (because it was the one with sand) hes now closer to me because its right next to the computer... maybe thats another reason he seems happy
he gets to see me all the time... or maybe that part is just all in my head.... but hes always looking at me. i like that

My Fahaka is just like a puppy! When i'm not around the tank she is swimming everywherem butr when i'm at the computer, almoust all the time she is right behind me
When i'm away for a day Faya is mad about me. She will stay longer in her cave and she will not give heads against the window until i go to play with my finger with her
I like you're sand, and also the color of Kukah now!
Addicted to my monsters!
