This is so exciting :) One day I'll have a fahaka.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

awe hes sweet!

fahakas must do fairly well in transport...... i dont know if its true for all of them, but samson seems great, and when i bought Kukah, we took a 1hr drive home with him in an ice chest, probably sloshing around with every turn and stop (regardless of how much i tried to avoid it).... when i got him home, he seemed like nothing had happened, as soon as he hit the water, you could tell, he was home. sounds like the same things happening with samson... he should be great! have fun ;)

I sent 2 fahakas to Singapore. It took about 48 hours. They lived several years after that.

Thanks Guys :),

yeah he didn't seem to be very stressed at all, soon as I put him in the tank he started to explore it, When I put my DP in there tank they all sat at the bottom for a few hours before they started to move around.

he is so amazing I love his marking, When I came down this mourning he saw me and came right to the glass to say HI!. He does pace a certain corner a bit, I am planning on getting a few more plants, and a small deco, to try and break the bordeom. I have a plan for a bigger tank in about 6 months. something
around the 150-200 range, Have to see how the $$ sit is. :)

lol sounds like you already have fahaka fever! its okay though, happens to the best of 'em :D first day i had Kukah, i was HHOOKKEEDD!!! (btw, you will probably end up spending SO much money on him) they make you so happy that you just want to give them everything... seriously, ive never spent so much money on a fish, or any other pet as a matter of fact.... but, kukah makes me smile so much it makes me want to give him everything i can weather its vitamins or special treat foods or more plants and decor..... your 30 dollar fish is gonna end up costing you an arm and a leg! lol but it honestly doesnt feel like it cause they make you happy to spend your money on them, at least Kukah does for me :) they seem to appreciate it
