"Okay. You! Out of the Gene Pool!"- Don't know who said it but I enjoy using it
I'm learning that puffer fish are like pringles. There is no such thing as only wanting one.
Tanks:
38 gallon: 1 Figure 8 puffer, 1 Dragon Goby, 1 Knight Goby, 3 Black Mollies
30 gallon: 1 Blue Acara, 1 Bristlenose Pleco
120 gallon: Ratchet the Fahaka Puffer

I believe you have small mud puddles mixed up with acres of rice paddies.

At least I don't have a diver & mermaid!
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

I'm sure he'd rather have a good tank with cheesy substrate than a bowl with good substrate

Re: Fahaka burying in sand.
while this video is super awesomly adoreable.... this is the same way my fahaka broke 3 filters in 1 month grrrr....
i had sand in the tank.... and every time the little devil would burry himself, the sand would go all over the tank and get sucked into the filter.... after he did this two times, i got smart and put one of those mesh bags on the outside of the filter intake.... thought i was a genius and that i outs marted him.... next day he ate a hole through the bag, did it one more time and lone behold...... i had to buy another filter!!!!
i now have gravel.
sure its cute.... but it can get expensive!
