5 when he was in my 20 and 1 or two in a 7 gallon cube that he was originally in.
They only get about the size of a percula clown...
I moved him from his 20 because he starting eating my zoanthids,
after a month or two he jumped(he was such a nice fish) and my water was really good since I did lots of water changes from the ocean, 2X a week around 30% changes....
It's been six months since he jumped
A month ago my persistent sister saw one at my LFS(pretty good place)
and bought me another toby.

My 7 gallon was for 2 months used to quarantine a diadema phseudo chromis,
so I put him in there since I took him out, put him into nano reef then the same day i put the toby in the 7.
He wasn't out as much as my old puffer,
but ate like him however he never go over being shy.
Lately(I've had him for a month or so) he has been getting more reclusive,
now within the past couple days he appears to be sleeping more,
his tail is lightly bent upwards, he looks slightly bloated and I think he has marine velvet since he clamps in his fins.
I feel like a clown,
I have a 20 gallon reef with zoanthids, palythoa, a seahare that's doing well, tomato clown,
a Bulk Reef Supply media reactor with GFO and cabron, Remora skimmer and I just bought MH to upgrade from my T5NO.
In other words I care about my fish, inverts etc,
and want to do whatever I can for this little guy.
I got ordered some glass from the glass store two weeks ago,
I got it yesterday, ordered some black silicone for the tank(14 gallon I'd use an aquaclear 70 with a fuge)
and it's all for him plus.
Here is asleep,
this puffer and the last one slept about the same...
As you can see he has the curved tail,
he has odd coloration on one half of him and not shown it appears he has some black spotting or velvet or something(could be fine sand particles sticking to his slime coat, as with my old puffer).........
He has been breathing quickly,
has clamped his fins so I think that's what he has...
Yesterday I fed him mysis(I do mysis, scallops, shrimp and frozen crushed nerite snails)
he seemed okay but he seems to tire out too much and isn't very active.
