Would this tank be ok to house a tetraodon lineatus (for life):
dimensions: 180cm x 50cm x 70cm ( 74" x 20" x 27" ). That makes about 160 us gallons I believe,
but the main worry that I have, is the built-in filter of 50cm x 15cm (20" x 6")
When housing a fahaka - especially a full grown one - an important tank dimension is the depth.
You want the Fahaka to be able to turn comfortably - and 24" is the ideal for that.
Added to that is the built in filter which would cut down considerably on turning room at that end of the aquarium. The other dimensions are fine...such a nice long tank...
but I would worry about turning radius room, when he is full grown.
IMO that is an excellent tank for a fahaka.
A little bit deeper (front to back) would be preferable but I think those dimensions are roomy enough for a full-grown fish.
