Dwarf puffers

Post by marksrush »

We just got in some dwarf puffers at work. I had never seen any before "live', and previously I was wondering why people seemed to rave about them so much. Now that I've seen them, I totally agree with their fans: they are very, very cute little things!

They are, aren't they??? People are like, oh, well, I don't want a small fish, they're boring. No way! They're frickin' adorable and so darned bouncy! :hyper: They might be little, but they think they're piranhas or something. :ohyeah:
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Oh, you've got to be kidding.... boring? NO WAY! Dwarf puffers are what started my addiction to puffers, and I'd never be without them. I love them. They come up to the glass when they are hungry and they travel around my tank in a little puffer mob. Did I already say I love them? :D

I just pay 2.99 each, but when you go on aquabid.com you will find some for $1 each. the problem is shipping. I live six hours from that dealer and he wanted to charge me $60 for airport to airport shipping.

DPs are irresistible! But they are not for everyone. Their tank should be set where you can comfortably sit and watch them easily. It is not their size, but their behavior which is so fascinating. Beside which, it is great to have an easy-to-breed puffer..
