Made me laugh the way his little eyes watched that crab coming, then he scooted out of the way as if to let the crab go past him. No, he didn't eat the crab - he crunched up a bit of something from the floor - maybe in frustration, cos I think that crab may have been a little on the big side for him. There are a few vids of that puffer on youtube. He is probably the first big GSP that I have seen. I hope he is healthy though - I presume he wouldn't be as big & active if he wasn't?

I think the person who owns this puffer indicated that it was in a 10-15 gallon in full marine conditions. Though I love the way his puffer looks, I wish he would buy it a bigger home. Some of the videos obviously portray how cramped he is.

That definitely wasn't the crab..

A lot of people say these little guys are mean tyo hermits and shrimp, but that hasn't been my experience at all.. Far from it.. In fact I'm going to make a thread right now of one of my puffers, who's in my reef tank, being cleaned by a skunk cleaner shrimp. ;)
