Narrow Lined Puffer??

Post by Oswald »

I bought this guy as a dog faced puffer. I knew it wasn't a dog face when I bought him, though. I got him for 23.00 so I thought that was a pretty good deal. Is this a narrow lined puffer?? I'm pretty sure it is after looking through the pufferpedia. Thanks for looking! He's in a 75 gallon right now but he will be moved to a 150 once he gets bigger.

Ps...ignore the salt creep! sorry the pics aren't the clearest

Yes it is an Arothron manilensis but they are also in the dogface family of puffers of: Arothron.

You need to fatten him up Oswald. He's a cutie, but will look much better with a little weight added. How about some "after" pictures once you've got him looking better? :D

You got a good price for him, were i live you would have to pay £30.00 at least for a Manilensis. Thats a beautiful puffer you have, glad he/she has gone to a good home and will be looking better in no time. :D
