I dont wanna kill the little fiddler, he is bigger then the puffers. So now I know why he was crawling out of my old tank and onto my floor.

They are interesting & fun to watch. A small, 5g tank set up with 1/2 land, 1/2 water or even just 1/2 filled with water, with a piece of styro to float on is a nice tank for them.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Here is a decent picture of 2 of the puffers. Can you tell me if they look healthy?

The one in the lower right hand corner looks nicely plumped and juicy!!!
Do they always hang by the heater?

Find a piece of driftwood and put it in your tank sidewyas leading up out of the water. Be sure the wood is clean and bacteria free though. Try baking it. I hear microwaving will also work

I couldnt find the fiddler crap so i looked in the filter ans sure enough there he was. But back to the puffers, one of em wont come out of the log that I have in the tank (got it from wal mart, has fake plants on it.) The two in the pics wont leave one anothers side, where you find one youll find the other.

Cute, they developed a relationship XD
As they mature they will probably turn and try to eat eachother. Ahhh...love.... :D

I'm sure the shy one will come out of it's shell once it is fully acclimnated. All those water changes doesn't help either.

I am going to pet co tomorrow and getting a kit to check all that stuff and gonna see if they have some filter media I can get from them to try and help out a little bit. Also would it help if I put in some live plants? I used to have em in there but after a while you can see little pieces taken out of em and they turned brown and died so I took em out.

Java moss is great for absorbing (some!) ammonia, and it's impossible to kill.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."
