Indian Dwarf Puffer (Tetraodon travancoricus)

Does anyone here have any experience with the indian dwarf puffer (Tetraodon travancoricus)? I am new to puffer fish and would like to find a puffer for a 19gal aquarium. Does this fish need its teeth trimmed regularly? Are their any puffers that can go without their teeth being trimmed if fed enough crustaceans?

dwarfs are less reliant on teeth grinding than others, and would be a good candidate for a 19gal.

A DP is generally the best starter puffer. They are FW, stay small, can live in groups (1 male-2 female), are farly easy to feed & generally require no teeth trimming. Lots of personality too!

Dwarfs are fantastic fish.

In a heavily planted 19 gallon tank you could have a thriving community of dwarfs...(well, like 4 or 5)

I think you should go for it.
