I'm interested in getting a hardy freshwater puffer that live in a 35 gallon tank.
I have gravel in it for the substrate but would not mind sand.
I don't know which freshwater puffers can fit in my size tank, suggestions please.
I've got experience with Green Spotted, Valentini, and Burrfish puffers.
I like the idea of freshwater puffers since then I don't have to mess with the salt and other stuff like that.
I want to make my puffer as easy as possible.

I'd look in the PufferPedia for gallon requirements on more species, but off the top of my head, I can think of Congos, irrubescos, and DPs.

If you are willing to change over to sand, any of the lurking species other than the Humpback, would be very happy in there are extremely cool fish.

My Palembang is quite an interesting puffer, he's a bit more active than my other lurkers. He's got beautiful eyes, and he's the one that won't eat if he knows I'm watching him. He likes to hang out under the filter. I think they are handsome puffers.
