S'n'S Puffer strange behaviour??

my stars and stripes puffer has just recently started doing something very weird!!!! Hes sucking up the Coral Sand into his mouth then Blowing it Out through his GILLS?>?? Why is he doing that ?>>> :?

yeah he is just looking for food in the sand alot of fish do this so its nothing bad

Its a good sign of a healthy and active puffer. Watch your puffer dosn't undermind any aquarium decor though by moving the sand, like heavy rocks. The puffers i look after do that somtimes. Just re- bury the base of the decor if he/she does, and as well as keeping your tank glass safe, you get to watch your devious friend dig them up again. ^_^
In an aquarium far far away... was a little grey puffer...
