houdini crayfish?

houdini crayfish?
this might seem odd but i cant find my crayfish. was 9 inchs so not hard to spot it but its gone my puffer way to small to eat it i think?. shes bout 5 inchs long maby 2 thick i lookd around my tank behind under etc cant find it nor do i know how it would of got out .

Dark Storm how big is your tank that yor crayfish was in? I've seen some eels and ropefish go up inthe filter and come back out but I'm not sure if your crayfish would do that. Would other tankmates did it live with?

They do bury themselves and he might just have found a suitable location for a cave.

eek i found him 7 hrs later in the laundry room 2 flights stairs down i pickd him up an he/it was barely moving put in quarantine tank for now i dont know if its gonna recover atm its on its side occasionally flipping an arm.

didnt make it
was gonna leave for puffer she lookd really into it
but prolly not worth the risk. only way i can see it got out is climbing the filter lines/ lesson learnd
